24-hour establishments in NE Ohio

I don't get around much any more. This is a list of what I know is open for business 24 hours a day in this area. I have it arranged in ZIP code order. Please help me update it by posting your additions or other emendations in the comments. I'd like to add in truck stops, too, and up and down I-90 and I-71, for instance--any place you can go to eat, drink, talk, or conduct business on a 24-hour basis.

  1. Hello Tim,

Just wondering ... Which of these 24 hr. joints are near (up to 1 mile) a stop on the Cleveland Rapid train system?

    Thanks,

    D

  2. Using this RTA map and a criterion of roughly 1 mile's distance--

--it would seem that My Friend's, Steve's Lunch, the Rapid Stop, A.J's, and Dianna's would be the qualifiers. We just did a quick mental inventory, and I think that we're pretty much in line. Just about everything is close to a bus, if you plan right.

  5. A.J.'s donuts are still available at Phoenix Coffee on Coventry at Euclid Heights Blvd. Apparently, he's dropped the retail part of his business.

  6. AJ's Donuts retail is in Concord, OH, but you are correct, you can get the donuts in several Phoenix Coffees (Coventry, South Euclid, Lee Rd) as well as at Java Jive in University Hospital and Berardi's in the VA Hospital.
